Directions

1

Prepare the Ciabatta

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the ciabatta loaf into 1/2-inch thick slices and arrange them on a baking sheet. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil.

2

Toast the Bread

Place the baking sheet in the oven and toast for about 8-10 minutes, or until the bread is golden and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

3

Prepare the Toppings

While the bread is toasting, finely chop the red onion and tomato. In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese with salt and pepper to taste.

4

Assemble the Bruschetta

Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on each toasted ciabatta slice. Top with pieces of smoked salmon, followed by the chopped red onion, tomato, and capers. Finally, add a handful of arugula on top.

5

Serve

Drizzle with a little more olive oil, if desired, and serve immediately while the bruschetta is still warm.
