Pepperoni Pizza Recipe

Time2h 20m
Serves8

We're talking about a lot of pepperoni here! 3" pepperonis shingled on our 19" crust. This pizza needs nothing more. *(if you choose to add additional toppings to this perfect masterpiece, they may be put underneath the pepperoni in order for them to not fall off. If you'd like a little less pepperoni and more toppings, use the "build your own" option)

Instructions

1

Prepare the Dough

In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.

2

Mix the Ingredients

Add olive oil, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.

3

Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4

Let the Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

5

Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add crushed tomatoes, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 15 minutes.

6

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

7

Shape the Pizza

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to fit a 19-inch pizza pan.

8

Assemble the Pizza

Spread the sauce over the dough, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and arrange the pepperoni slices on top.

9

Bake the Pizza

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

10

Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, slice, and enjoy your pepperoni pizza!
