Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a mixing bowl, take the 0.5 lb of ground chuck. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Form the meat into a round patty, ensuring it is slightly larger than the bun as it will shrink while cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip it and place a slice of Tillamook cheddar cheese on top. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patty reaches your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Bun

While the patty is cooking, lightly toast the brioche bun on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, layer the lettuce leaf, followed by the tomato slices and onion slices. Place the cheese-topped patty on top of the vegetables, and then add the pickle chips. Finally, place the top half of the bun over the burger to complete.
