Directions

1

Prepare the Shrimp

In a large pot, add 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat.

2

Season the Water

Once the water is boiling, add 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning to the pot.

3

Cook the Shrimp

Add the pound of jumbo shrimp to the seasoned boiling water. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

4

Ice Bath

Remove the shrimp from the pot using a slotted spoon and immediately place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes.

5

Prepare the Cocktail Sauce

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix well to combine.

6

Season the Sauce

Taste the cocktail sauce and add salt and pepper to taste.

7

Serve

Drain the shrimp from the ice water and arrange them on a serving platter. Serve with the cocktail sauce and lemon wedges on the side.
