Method

Cooking the Lobster

1

Prepare the Pot

Fill a large pot with water and add the salt. Bring it to a boil.

2

Cook the Lobster

Once the water is boiling, carefully add the live lobster. Cover the pot and cook for about 8-10 minutes until the lobster is bright red and fully cooked.

3

Remove and Cool

Using tongs, remove the lobster from the pot and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for a few minutes.

Butter Sauce Preparation

4

Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

5

Add Flavor

Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

6

Finish the Sauce

Stir in the chopped parsley, lemon juice, and black pepper. Remove from heat.

Serving

7

Serve the Lobster

Crack open the lobster shells and serve the lobster meat with the garlic butter sauce drizzled over it.
