Combine ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Uncle Val's Botanical Gin, 1.5 oz fresh pineapple juice, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz honey syrup, and 1 dash of dry orange bitters.
- 3
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup), cap it, and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and slightly frosted. This chills and dilutes the drink to the correct balance.
- 4
Prepare glass
Fill a rocks glass or coupe with cracked or cubed ice (about 1 cup) depending on presentation preference.
- 5
Strain and serve
Double-strain the cocktail into the prepared glass over the ice using a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer (or a single strainer if fine mesh unavailable).
- 6
Garnish
Garnish with a single pineapple leaf or a lime wheel on the rim. Optionally express a small lime peel over the top to release oils, then discard.
- 7
Serve
Serve immediately while cold. Advise the guest to sip and enjoy the bright, botanical-forward pineapple-lime balance with honeyed sweetness.
