Steep 2 black tea bags (or 2 tablespoons loose black tea) in 250 ml just-boiled water for 4 minutes. Remove tea, let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold (about 20–30 minutes).

Brew tea

Combine 90 ml sugar and 90 ml water in a small saucepan. Warm over low heat, stirring, until sugar is fully dissolved. Cool to room temperature (or refrigerate briefly).

Make simple syrup

Wash the orange, lemon, and blackberries. Slice the orange and lemon into 6–8 thin rounds; cut rounds in half if preferred for easier serving. Reserve a few thin slices for garnish.

Lightly muddle 100 g of the blackberries in a bowl or the serving pitcher with the back of a wooden spoon or muddler to release juices, leaving some whole berries for texture and appearance.

In a large pitcher (at least 2.5 L), combine 1.5 liters Pinot Noir, 125 ml Luxardo Aperitivo, the cooled 250 ml brewed black tea, and 90 ml cooled simple syrup. Stir gently to combine.

Add the sliced orange, sliced lemon, the muddled blackberries and the remaining whole blackberries into the pitcher. Stir once to integrate fruit and liquids.

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably 4–6 hours or up to overnight, to allow the flavors to marry and the fruit to infuse the wine.

When ready to serve, taste the sangria. If you prefer it slightly lighter or fizzier, gently stir in up to 500 ml chilled club soda (start with 250 ml and add to taste). Adjust sweetness with small amounts of simple syrup if needed.

Fill glasses with ice. Pour sangria over ice, making sure each glass gets a good mix of fruit and liquid. Garnish with reserved orange or lemon slices and a mint sprig if using.

Leftover sangria can be refrigerated (without ice) for up to 48 hours. If it loses fizz, add fresh soda just before serving.
