Cocktail
Prepare shaker
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 3/4 cup crushed or cubed). Chilling the shaker helps keep the coconut cream from separating and yields a well-mixed texture.
Add base ingredients
Into the shaker add 2 oz light rum, 1 oz coconut cream, 0.5 oz blue curaçao, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup (use only if you prefer slightly sweeter).
Dry shake then wet shake
Seal the shaker and shake vigorously without ice for 5–7 seconds (dry shake) to emulsify the coconut cream. Then add ice to the shaker and shake hard for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker frosts.
Prepare serving glass
Fill a highball or large Collins glass with about 1 cup cracked ice (or to preference).
Strain and top
Double-strain the mixed cocktail over the ice in the prepared glass, leaving space at the top. Gently top with 4 oz chilled Red Bull Wild Berries by pouring slowly down the side of the glass to preserve some effervescence and create a layered color effect. If using the dark rum float, carefully pour 0.5 oz dark rum over the back of a spoon to float on top.
Garnish & Finish
Skewer 2–3 fresh mixed berries on a cocktail pick and rest across the rim of the glass, or scatter them on top of the drink.
Add a lime wheel to the rim and tuck a mint sprig beside it for aroma (optional).
Serve immediately with a straw. Advise the drinker to stir once or twice before drinking to evenly incorporate the coconut cream and energy drink.
