Pulled Pork

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Pork

Rub the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.

2

Smoke the Pork

Soak the cherry wood chips in water for at least 30 minutes. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Place the soaked wood chips in the smoker and then place the pork shoulder directly on the grill. Smoke for about 6-8 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).

3

Pull the Pork

Once the pork is done, remove it from the smoker and let it rest for about 30 minutes. Then, shred the pork using two forks until it is fully pulled apart.

4

Toast the Buns

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the burger buns and toast them until golden brown on both sides.

5

Assemble the Sandwich

Place a generous amount of pulled pork on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Drizzle with BBQ sauce and top with the other half of the bun.
