Preparation Steps

1

Prepare the Fries

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to make fries. Rinse in cold water and dry thoroughly.

2

Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potato strips in batches until crispy and golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

3

Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, combine ground beef and Korean BBQ sauce. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

4

Cook the Beef

In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the marinated beef until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.

5

Make Garlic Mayo

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and minced garlic together. Set aside.

6

Prepare Scallions

In the same skillet, add chopped scallions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.

7

Assemble the Bulgogi Fries

On a large plate or serving platter, layer the crispy fries, followed by the cooked bulgogi beef, kimchi, sautéed scallions, and drizzle the garlic mayo on top.
