- 1
Prepare glass and mint
Select a wine glass or large rocks glass. Gently slap 2 mint leaves between your palms once to release oils, then place them in the glass along with a few large ice cubes (or a small handful of crushed ice if you prefer a more slushy texture).
- 2
Build the drink
Pour 1.5 oz elderflower liqueur into the glass. Add 0.5 oz fresh lime juice. If you prefer slightly sweeter, add 0.25 oz simple syrup. Stir gently once or twice to combine ingredients and chill the mixture.

Garnish and serve
Tuck 2 additional mint leaves lightly against the rim and float a lime wheel or wedge on top. Serve immediately with a short straw or stirrer so the drink can be refreshed while sipping.
