Cocktail

Method

Prepare Glass

  1. 1

    Rim the glass

Pour the coarse salt or Tajín onto a small plate. Rub the lime wedge around the outer rim of a chilled rocks or coupe glass, then dip the rim into the salt/Tajín so it adheres evenly. Set the glass aside.

Mix Cocktail

  1. 2

    Combine ingredients

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice (about 3/4 full). Add 2 oz Milagro Silver Tequila, 1 oz PAMA pomegranate liqueur, 1 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 tbs agave syrup (if you prefer slightly sweeter), and 0.5 oz orange liqueur (optional for extra orange complexity).

  2. 3

    Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is well-chilled and slightly frosted.

  3. 4

    Strain

Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice (or leave without ice for a coupe). Double-strain the cocktail into the glass using a Hawthorne and fine strainer (or just a Hawthorne if fine straining isn’t available) to remove small ice shards and any pulp.

Garnish & Serve

  1. 5

    Finish

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim and sprinkle 1 tbs pomegranate arils into the drink or on top as a visual accent. Serve immediately.
