Fit Turkey Wrap

In a large brew kettle, heat 6 liters of water to about 165°F (74°C). Add the Pale Malt and Crystal Malt to the water.

Mashing the Grains

Maintain the temperature around 150°F (65°C) and steep the grains for 60 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Steeping

After steeping, remove the grains and bring the liquid (wort) to a boil. Once boiling, add the Hops (Citra) and boil for 60 minutes.

Boiling the Wort

After 45 minutes of boiling, add the Hops (Simcoe) and Hops (Amarillo) to the boil.

Adding Aromatic Hops

After 60 minutes, remove the kettle from heat. Cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller or by placing the kettle in an ice bath.

Cooling the Wort

Once the wort is cooled to about 70°F (21°C), transfer it to a sanitized fermenter. Pitch the Yeast (American Ale) into the wort.

Fermentation

After fermentation is complete (about 1-2 weeks), dissolve the Priming Sugar in a small amount of water and add it to the beer before bottling.

Bottling

Bottle the beer and let it condition at room temperature for another 1-2 weeks before chilling and serving.
