Brownie Ingredients
Method
Brownie Directions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
Melt the Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Mix Together
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Bake the Brownies
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Prepare the Hot Fudge
While the brownies are baking, prepare the hot fudge. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of chocolate chips, 1/2 cup of heavy cream, and 2 tablespoons of butter. Heat over low heat, stirring until smooth and melted.
Serve
Once the brownies are done baking, allow them to cool slightly. Cut into squares and serve warm topped with hot fudge.
