Method

Prepare

1

Chill glass

If desired, chill a Collins or highball glass by filling it with ice water while you prepare ingredients; discard chilling water before assembling the cocktail.

Mixing

2

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.

3

Add vodka (2 oz), fresh lime juice (0.5 oz), and simple syrup (0.25 oz) to the shaker.

4

Shake vigorously for about 10–12 seconds until well chilled (exterior of shaker becomes cold).

5

Fill the chilled Collins/highball glass three-quarters full with fresh ice.

6

Strain the shaken vodka-citrus mixture into the prepared glass over the ice.

7

Top gently with peach seltzer (4 oz). Pour slowly to preserve carbonation and avoid overflow. Stir once gently with a bar spoon to integrate.

Garnish & Finish

8

Place a lime wheel on the rim or float it in the drink. Add a fresh peach slice on the rim or into the glass if using.

9

Serve immediately with a straw (optional) and enjoy cold.
