1

Chill glass and ingredients

If possible, chill a large wine glass by placing it in the freezer for 10–15 minutes or filling it with ice water for a few minutes. Ensure Prosecco and club soda are well chilled before assembling.

2

Fill the chilled wine glass about three-quarters full with fresh ice (approximately 1 cup).

3

Pour 3 tablespoons (approx. 1.5 oz) of Aperol over the ice.

4

Add 3 ounces of chilled Prosecco gently into the glass. Pour slowly to preserve bubbles.

5

Top with 1 ounce of chilled club soda. Pour gently along the inside of the glass so the layers remain slightly separated and effervescence is preserved.

6

Gently stir once or twice with a bar spoon to integrate the ingredients—avoid vigorous stirring to keep carbonation.

7

Garnish with one fresh orange slice placed on the rim or floated in the drink.

8

Serve immediately while chilled and effervescent.
