Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Onions

Slice the onions into thin rings. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until they are soft and caramelized, about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally and set aside.

2

Form the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, making a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.

3

Cook the Patties

Heat the remaining tablespoon of oil in a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the hot surface and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty in the last minute of cooking to melt.

4

Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns lightly if desired. Place each cooked patty on a bun and top generously with the caramelized onions. Optionally, add any additional toppings of your choice. Cover with the top half of the bun.

5

Serve

Serve the burgers hot with your favorite sides and enjoy!
