Preparation
Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add Vegetables and Spices
Add chopped onions, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper to the beef. Cook for another 5 minutes until the onions are translucent.
Prepare the Beans
In a separate pot, heat the black beans over low heat until warmed through. Season with salt and pepper.
Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until soft.
Assemble the Tacos
On each tortilla, layer the beef mixture, black beans, shredded lettuce, sour cream, shredded cheese, chopped cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice.
Serve
Serve the tacos immediately with extra lime wedges on the side.
