Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill & Prepare Glass

Fill a large highball or hurricane glass with ice to chill while you mix the drink. Reserve a little room at the top for soda and garnish.

  2. 2

    Combine Spirits

In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass half-filled with ice, pour 4 fl oz Captain Morgan spiced rum, 1 fl oz peach schnapps, and 1 fl oz lime vodka. Stir gently for about 10–15 seconds to lightly chill and combine (shaking is optional but will aerate the drink).

  3. 3

    Add Juices

Add 6 fl oz pineapple juice and 0.5 fl oz cranberry juice to the shaker. Stir (or briefly shake) another 5–8 seconds to incorporate. The cranberry is a splash mainly for color and a hint of tartness; adjust to taste.

  4. 4

    Assemble

Discard the ice from the chilled serving glass if it has softened, then fill the glass with fresh ice (about 1 cup). Strain the mixed spirits and juices into the prepared glass, leaving approximately 1 inch (about 2 fl oz) of space at the top.

  5. 5

    Top with Soda

Gently top the drink with 2 fl oz Sprite (about a splash to 1/4 cup). Stir briefly once or twice to combine the soda with the punch without losing all the carbonation.

  6. 6

    Garnish & Serve

Garnish with a lime wedge and a pineapple wedge or slice on the rim. Optionally drop the lime wedge into the drink and give it a final gentle stir. Serve immediately with a straw.
