Method
Prepare Vessel & Ice
- 1
Chill and ice the bucket
Place the sandcastle bucket in a cool area (or briefly in the fridge) so it’s cool to the touch. Fill the bottom third of the bucket with cubed ice (about 2–3 lbs) to keep the mixture cold while assembling.
- 2
Reserve remaining ice in a cooler or ice bin to top off the bucket just before serving so the finished drink stays chilled without diluting too quickly.
Combine Alcohols
- 3
Pour the Sea Ice Vodka (8 oz), Absolut Citron (6 oz), Malibu Rum (6 oz), Triple Sec (3 oz), and Moscato (12 oz) directly into the chilled sandcastle bucket over the initial bed of ice.
- 4
Gently stir the spirits and wine together with a long-handled spoon or clean paddle for about 15–20 seconds to integrate.
Add Mixers & Juices
- 5
Add the lemonade (24 oz), sweet & sour mix (8 oz), pineapple juice (10 oz), and cranberry juice (8 oz) to the bucket. Pour slowly down the side to minimize foaming from the Moscato.
- 6
Stir gently for 20–30 seconds until liquids are evenly combined. Taste a small sample and adjust balance as desired — add up to 4 oz additional lemonade for more sweetness or 2–4 oz additional cranberry for more tartness.
- 7
Pour the chilled Sprite (12 oz) into the mixture last to preserve carbonation. Stir very gently (5–10 seconds) to distribute the soda without flattening it.
Finish & Garnish
- 8
Top the bucket with the remaining ice until the mixture is near the rim but still able to be stirred (reserve some ice if you want to keep the top decorative).
- 9
Float lemon slices, pineapple chunks, and maraschino cherries on top as garnish. Insert a few long straws or ladles for communal serving.
- 10
Provide small cups or plastic glasses for guests. Stir gently before each pour to re-incorporate settled ingredients.
Serving & Safety
- 11
This recipe yields a large-format drink meant for group sharing. Serve responsibly and label the bucket with an alcohol warning if appropriate. Keep additional ice and chilled nonalcoholic water nearby for guests who want to dilute or alternate drinks.
