For the Fries

Method

To Make the Fries

1

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to make fries.

2

Soak the Fries

Place the cut fries in a bowl of cold water and soak for at least 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch.

3

Dry the Fries

After soaking, drain the fries and pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

4

Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

5

Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the fries to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

6

Season the Fries

Immediately sprinkle the hot fries with salt and garlic powder while they are still hot.

7

Add Truffle Oil and Parmesan

Drizzle the truffle oil over the fries and toss them gently. Then add the grated Parmesan cheese and toss again to coat.

8

Garnish and Serve

Finish by sprinkling chopped fresh parsley on top and serve hot.
