1. Prepare the Shrimp

In a large pot, bring the water, lemon halves, and salt to a boil. Add the jumbo shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat, drain, and place shrimp in an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Let cool.

2. Make the Cocktail Sauce

In a medium bowl, combine the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth.

3. Serve

Arrange the cooled shrimp on a platter with a bowl of cocktail sauce in the center. Serve chilled.
