Cocktail
Garnish
Optional house-made lemonade (if not using pre-made)
Method
Cocktail
Build and shake
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with crushed ice. Add 2 oz Anchorage Distillery flavored vodka (choose Blueberry or Raspberry), 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup. Cap the shaker and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled.
Combine
Fill a highball or Collins glass with crushed ice (about 1 cup). Strain the shaken mixture over the ice. Pour 3 oz chilled house lemonade over the top, then gently stir once to combine.
Top
Top the drink with 1 oz club soda or sparkling water for a light effervescence. Stir gently once to incorporate.
Garnish
Skewer 4 of the berries (blueberries if using blueberry vodka or raspberries if using raspberry vodka) on a small cocktail pick and rest it across the rim. Float the remaining 2 berries on top of the drink. Add a lemon wheel or wedge to the rim and tuck a mint sprig beside it if desired.
Optional house-made lemonade
Make lemonade (yields about 4 cups)
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup water. Heat over medium, stirring, until the sugar fully dissolves to make a simple syrup; cool. In a pitcher, combine 1 cup fresh lemon juice and the cooled syrup. Add 3 cups cold water and stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness or dilution to preference. Chill before using in the cocktail.
