Prepare the Base

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add Tomatoes and Broth

Stir in the canned diced tomatoes, fish stock or seafood broth, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Cook the Shellfish

Add the clams and mussels to the pot first. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the shells open.

Add Fish and Shrimp

Next, stir in the redfish and shrimp. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

Finish with Crab and Parsley

Finally, add the thawed snow crab legs to the pot just until heated through. Stir in the chopped parsley and adjust seasoning if needed.

Ladle the stew into bowls, serve with warm garlic bread on the side.
