OYSTER SHOOTERS

Method

OYSTER SHOOTERS

1

Prepare the Cocktail Base

In a large mixing bowl, combine horseradish vodka, tomato juice, fresh lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to ensure all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.

2

Chill the Mixture

Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the mixture to chill.

3

Prepare the Oysters

While the cocktail mixture is chilling, carefully shuck the fresh oysters, ensuring you keep them in their shells. If you prefer, you can also serve the oysters on a bed of ice to keep them fresh.

4

Assemble the Shooters

Once the mixture is chilled, take a shot glass and fill it halfway with the prepared cocktail mixture. Gently place a fresh oyster on top of the mixture in each shot glass.

5

Garnish and Serve

Garnish each shooter with a lemon wedge on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately while chilled, encouraging guests to shoot the oyster and cocktail mixture together.
