Sandwiches

Method

Sandwiches

1

Prepare Cucumber Sandwiches

Spread cream cheese on two slices of whole wheat bread. Thinly slice the cucumber and layer it on one slice. Top with the other slice, cut into quarters, and set aside.

2

Make Ham and Cheese Sandwiches

Spread butter on two slices of white bread. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheddar cheese on one slice, cover with the other slice, and cut into quarters.

3

Prepare Jam Sandwiches

Spread strawberry jam on two slices of white bread. Press together, then cut into quarters.

Scones

4

Make Scone Dough

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

5

Add Milk and Fruit

Stir in the milk and dried fruit until just combined. Do not overmix.

6

Shape and Bake

Turn the dough onto a floured surface, pat into a circle about 1 inch thick. Cut into wedges, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.

Sweet Treats

7

Prepare Mini Cupcakes

Use store-bought or homemade mini cupcakes. Place them on a serving plate.

8

Arrange Cookies

Place chocolate chip cookies on a separate plate next to the cupcakes.

9

Make Fruit Skewers

Thread grapes and strawberries onto small skewers for easy handling.

Beverages
