Prepare the Garlic Butter

Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter.

Add Garlic

Finely chop 2 garlic cloves and add them to the melted butter. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add Parsley

Stir in 1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh parsley and remove from heat. Set aside.

Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the Bread

Take the Cuban bread loaf and slice it in half lengthwise.

Spread Mustard

Spread 2 tablespoons of mustard evenly on the inside of both halves of the bread.

Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of the bread, layer the 200 grams of roast pork, 100 grams of ham, 2 slices of Swiss cheese, and 4 slices of pickles.

Top with Bread

Place the top half of the bread over the layered ingredients.

Grill the Sandwich

Preheat the Grill

Preheat a panini press or grill pan over medium heat.

Butter the Bread

Brush the outside of the sandwich with the prepared garlic butter.

Grill the Sandwich

Place the sandwich on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Serve

Remove the sandwich from the grill, slice it in half, and serve hot.
