Diana’s Chai Espresso Martini

Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Begin by harvesting the red grapes. Ensure they are ripe and free from any rot or mold. Clean the grapes to remove any dirt.

Crush the harvested grapes in a clean container to extract the juice. This can be done manually or using a grape crusher.

Add 1 litre of clean water and 200g of sugar to the crushed grapes. Stir the mixture to dissolve the sugar.

Sprinkle 10g of yeast and 5g of tannin powder over the mixture. Stir gently to combine all ingredients evenly.

Cover the container with a cloth and let the mixture ferment for about 7 to 14 days at room temperature. Stir daily to ensure even fermentation.

Once fermentation is complete, siphon the liquid into a clean container, leaving the sediment behind. Ensure the siphoning process does not introduce air.

Dissolve 0.5g of potassium metabisulfite in a small amount of wine and add it to the siphoned wine. This helps prevent spoilage.

Transfer the wine to a glass or wooden barrel for aging. Leave it to age for at least 3 months, checking periodically for taste.

Once aged, bottle the wine in clean bottles and cork them securely. Store them in a cool, dark place.
