Potstickers

Method

Preparation

1

Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped green onions, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix until well combined.

2

Assemble the Potstickers

Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Add about 1 tablespoon of the filling to the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and press to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

3

Cook the Potstickers

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the potstickers and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Carefully add water to the skillet, cover, and steam for another 4-5 minutes until the water has evaporated.

4

Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, honey, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes until well combined.

5

Serve

Serve the potstickers hot with the ginger-sesame-soy sauce for dipping.
