Method
For one serving
- 1
Chill glass
If possible, chill your serving glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to keep the drink colder longer.
- 2
Fill the chilled glass with about 6 ice cubes, leaving some space at the top for the soda to avoid excessive foaming.
- 3
Open a cold 12 fl oz can or bottle of Pepsi. Pour gently down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation and reduce foaming. Fill to about 1/2 inch (1 cm) from the rim.
- 4
- 5
Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer. Enjoy cold.
For larger batch (approx. 1 liter)
- 6
Chill a pitcher in the refrigerator for 10–20 minutes if you want the batch colder and less likely to foam when poured.
- 7
Fill the chilled pitcher with 8–12 ice cubes (adjust depending on desired dilution).
- 8
Slowly pour 1 liter (1000 ml) of chilled Pepsi into the pitcher, pouring along the inside surface to minimize foaming.
- 9
Add lemon slices and mint sprigs if desired for a light citrus/herbal aroma. Stir gently once to distribute; do not vigorously mix to preserve carbonation.
- 10
Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
