Cooking Instructions

1

Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and black pepper. Add the steak and ensure it is fully coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

2

Prepare the Vegetables

While the steak is marinating, wash and trim the sugar snap peas. Chop the green onions and set them aside.

3

Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade (discard the marinade) and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is reached. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

4

Sauté the Sugar Snap Peas

In the same skillet or a separate pan, add a little sesame oil and sauté the sugar snap peas for about 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.

5

Serve

Slice the steak against the grain and serve it on a plate alongside the sautéed sugar snap peas. Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
