Place the bottle of Peregrino Sauvignon Blanc in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours prior to serving to reach an ideal serving temperature of 45–50°F (7–10°C). If short on time, place the bottle in an ice bucket with equal parts ice and water for 20–30 minutes.

Chill the bottle

If using a wine glass, place it in the fridge for a few minutes or rinse with cold water and let drain so the glass is slightly chilled.

Remove the foil capsule or cut it just below the lip of the bottle. Center the corkscrew on the cork and twist in until only one turn of the worm remains above the cork. Use the leverage of the corkscrew to gently extract the cork. Wipe the bottle lip with a clean cloth if needed.

Open the bottle

Hold the glass by its stem and pour a small 1–2 ounce (30–60 ml) pour. Swirl gently and sniff. Note the restrained aromatics of citrus and minerality typical of this wine—look for lemon or lime, green apple, and subtle mineral or wet stone notes.

Smell and inspect

Pour about 5–6 ounces (150–180 ml) per glass, filling to about one-third to half the glass to allow aromatics to collect. If serving multiple guests, repeat for each glass. If the bottle is cooler than desired, allow it to warm in the glass for a few minutes to reveal more aroma.

Pour to serve

If desired, add a lemon or lime wedge to the glass rim for a visual garnish. Do not squeeze into the wine unless the guest prefers additional citrus brightness—this wine is balanced and typically does not require further acid adjustment.

If serving outdoors on a warm day, keep the bottle in an ice bucket and top with fresh ice as needed to maintain temperature.
