Method

Prepare glass and ice

Chill glass (optional)

Place the serving glass in the freezer for 10–15 minutes before serving to keep the drink colder longer. This step is optional but recommended for best refreshment.

Fill the chilled or regular serving glass with about 1 cup of ice cubes, leaving room at the top for the soda to be poured without overflowing.

Pour and finish

Open a 12 fl oz bottle or can of Coca‑Cola. To minimize fizz loss, tilt the glass about 30–45 degrees and pour the cola slowly down the side of the glass until it reaches the top.

If using, squeeze a lime wedge over the drink and drop the wedge into the glass for a citrus accent.

Garnish with a mint sprig or lime slice if desired. Serve immediately with a straw or stirring spoon.
