Burrata & Prosciutto Ingredients

Method

Burrata & Prosciutto Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pickled Onion

Thinly slice the red onion and place it in a small bowl. Pour balsamic vinegar over the onions, ensuring they are fully submerged. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes to pickle.

  2. 2

    Roast the Grapes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the grapes on a baking sheet, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roast for 15-20 minutes, until they are soft and slightly caramelized.

  3. 3

    Grill the Piparra Peppers

Heat a grill pan over medium heat. Toss the piparra peppers with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill the peppers for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are blistered and charred.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Bread

Slice the loaf of bread into 1-inch slices. Brush each slice with olive oil and grill them on the grill pan until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On a serving platter, place the grilled bread slices. Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and place it on top of the bread. Arrange slices of prosciutto around the burrata. Top with grilled piparra peppers and roasted grapes. Finally, add the pickled onions on top.

  6. 6

    Serve

Drizzle with additional balsamic vinegar and olive oil if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
