Buffalo Wings
Celery and Blue Cheese Dressing
Method
Buffalo Wings Preparation
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help to crisp the wings.
Prepare the Chicken Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.
Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the buffalo sauce and stir until well combined.
Toss Wings in Sauce
Once the wings are out of the oven, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the wings and toss until fully coated.
Celery and Blue Cheese Dressing Preparation
Prepare the Celery
Wash and cut the celery stalks into sticks about 3 inches long.
Make the Blue Cheese Dressing
In a mixing bowl, combine blue cheese crumbles, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.
Serve
Serve the buffalo wings hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.
