Fit Turkey Wrap

An IPA brewed with Simcoe, Simcoe Cryo, Citra Hop Hash, Motueka and Mosaic. It's out of this world – dank and juicy!

In a large brew kettle, heat 5 liters of filtered water to approximately 160°F (70°C). Add the Pale Malt and Caramel Malt to the water and stir well. Maintain the temperature between 150°F and 155°F (65°C - 68°C) for 60 minutes.

Prepare the Mash

After mashing, sparge the grains by rinsing them with hot water to collect the wort. Aim for about 6 liters of wort in total.

Sparging

Bring the wort to a boil. Once boiling, add the Simcoe Hops and boil for 60 minutes.

Boil the Wort

With 15 minutes left in the boil, add the Simcoe Cryo Hops, Citra Hop Hash, and Motueka Hops.

Add the Flavor Hops

In the last 5 minutes of the boil, add the Mosaic Hops.

Add the Aroma Hops

After the boil, cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller or an ice bath until it reaches about 70°F (21°C).

Cool the Wort

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel. Pitch the American Ale Yeast into the wort and seal the vessel with an airlock. Allow it to ferment for 1-2 weeks at around 68°F (20°C).

Fermentation

After fermentation is complete, prepare your bottles by sanitizing them. Transfer the beer into the bottles, leaving some headspace, and cap them.

Bottle the Beer

Let the bottles carbonate at room temperature for 1-2 weeks before chilling and enjoying your IPA.
