Collab w / Less Hate More Lager, we have prepared for you, a crispy Rice Lager, fermented on Guava puree. Sweet Guava on the nose, and a light, poundable Pilsner body!

In a large kettle, heat 6 gallons of water to 165°F (74°C). Add the Pilsner malt and rice flakes, ensuring they are fully submerged. Hold the temperature at 150°F (65°C) for 60 minutes.

Mashing

After mashing, sparge the grains with hot water to collect about 6 gallons of wort in your brew kettle.

Sparging

Bring the wort to a boil. Once boiling, add the Saaz hops and let boil for 60 minutes.

Boiling

After 60 minutes of boiling, cool the wort quickly using an immersion chiller or an ice bath until it reaches about 70°F (21°C).

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel. Pitch the lager yeast and seal the vessel with an airlock. Allow it to ferment at 50°F (10°C) for about 2 weeks.

Fermentation

After primary fermentation is complete, add the guava puree and corn sugar to the fermentation vessel. Seal again and allow to ferment for another week.

Adding Guava

Once fermentation is complete, transfer the beer into sanitized bottles or a keg. If bottling, be sure to add priming sugar for carbonation.

Packaging

Let the beer condition for at least 2 weeks at room temperature before refrigerating. Enjoy your Inglorious Guava!
