Preparation Instructions
Prepare the Haddock
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the haddock fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs or spices. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Cook the Popcorn Shrimp
If using frozen popcorn shrimp, cook according to package instructions, generally in a deep fryer or oven until golden brown and crispy, about 4-6 minutes in a deep fryer or 10-12 minutes in the oven at 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Fries
Fry or bake the French fries according to package instructions or your preferred method until they are crispy and golden brown.
Serve the Coleslaw
Scoop the coleslaw into a serving bowl. You can make your own or use store-bought.
Bake the Cornbread Muffins
If baking from scratch, prepare cornbread muffin batter according to your favorite recipe or box instructions. Pour into muffin tins and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. If store-bought, heat them as per the package instructions.
Plating
On a large serving platter, arrange the baked haddock, crispy popcorn shrimp, French fries, and a pint of coleslaw. Serve with cornbread muffins on the side.
