Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare glass (optional salted rim)

If you want a salted rim, run a lime wedge around the glass lip. Pour the coarse salt on a small plate and gently press the glass rim into the salt to coat. Set glass aside.

2

Measure and add ingredients

Measure 2 oz blanco tequila, 1 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz agave nectar. Pour all three into a cocktail shaker.

3

Add ice and shake

Add about 1 cup of ice to the shaker (enough to fill roughly two-thirds). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is cold and slightly frosted. This chills and dilutes the drink properly.

4

Strain and serve

Use a Hawthorne or built-in shaker strainer to strain the cocktail into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice if you prefer it on the rocks, or double-strain into a chilled coupe for a neat presentation. Avoid adding extra sweetener; Tommy's Margarita is bright, balanced, and agave-forward.

5

Garnish

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Serve immediately.

Tools & Serving

Use a jigger to ensure accurate measurements for consistent results. Chill your glass briefly in the freezer if serving straight up. Rinse and dry tools after use.
