Coke & Service
Equipment
Method
Prepare glass
Assemble drink
Add 4–6 ice cubes to the chilled glass. Leave room at the top so the Coke won’t overflow when poured.
Measure 12.5 oz (approximately 370 ml) of chilled Coca‑Cola. Pour it slowly down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation and reduce foaming.
If using, gently squeeze the lime wedge over the surface of the Coke to release a few drops of juice, then drop the wedge into the glass or serve on the rim.
Give the drink one gentle stir with a long spoon or stirrer — one to two slow strokes — just enough to integrate the lime if used. Avoid vigorous stirring to preserve bubbles.
Garnish with a mint sprig if desired, placed beside the lime wedge or on the rim.
Serve
Serve immediately while cold and fizzy. Provide a straw if requested.
If any Coke remains in a bottle or can after pouring, reseal and refrigerate promptly to maintain carbonation for a short time.
