Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Strawberry Shake, regular size

Harvest 2 kg of ripe Pinot Noir grapes. Remove stems and crush the grapes to release their juice. Place the crushed grapes into a fermentation vessel.

Harvesting and Crushing

Dissolve 150 g of sugar in 500 ml of water. Add this sugar solution to the crushed grapes in the fermentation vessel.

Adding Sugar and Water

Sprinkle 1 tsp of wine yeast over the surface of the grape mixture. Stir gently to combine.

Inoculating with Yeast

Cover the fermentation vessel with a clean cloth and let it sit at room temperature for 5 to 7 days. Stir the mixture daily to ensure even fermentation.

Fermentation

After fermentation, press the mixture to separate the liquid (wine) from the solid grape skins. Transfer the liquid to a clean fermentation container.

Pressing

If desired, add 50 g of oak chips for added flavor and let the wine age for 4 to 6 weeks. Optionally, you can also add a split vanilla bean at this stage.

Aging (Optional)

Once the aging process is complete, bottle the wine using sanitized bottles and corks. Allow the wine to age in bottles for an additional 3 to 6 months for optimal flavor.

Bottling

Chill the bottled Pinot Noir for about 30 minutes before serving to enhance the freshness of the berries and cherries.

Preparing for Serving

Pour the wine into a glass and enjoy the fresh and juicy flavors of berries and cherries.
