Ingredients: 4 pounds Beef Brisket; 2 tbs Salt; 1 tbs Black Pepper; 1 tbs Garlic Powder; 1 tbs Onion Powder; 2 tbs Smoked Paprika; 2 cups Beef Broth; 1 tbs Worcestershire Sauce; 2 tbs Olive Oil; 2 tbs Fresh Rosemary; 2 tbs Fresh Thyme

Trim any excess fat from the brisket and pat it dry with paper towels.

Prepare the Brisket

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Rub this mixture all over the brisket.

Season the Meat

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the brisket for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.

Sear the Brisket

In a slow cooker or roasting pan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, rosemary, and thyme. Place the seared brisket on top.

Prepare for Cooking

Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours in a slow cooker or 4-5 hours at 300°F (150°C) in the oven until tender.

Cook the Brisket

Remove the brisket from the cooker and let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing. Serve with the cooking juices.
