Pastrami Panini Ingredients
Method
Preparation Directions
Prepare the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream and horseradish sauce until well combined. Set aside.
Assemble the Panini
Lay out the slices of marble rye bread. Spread a layer of the sour cream and horseradish mixture on one side of each slice. On two of the slices, layer the pastrami, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese.
Top and Butter
Top with the remaining slices of bread, sauce side down. Spread butter on the outer sides of the bread.
Grill the Panini
Preheat a panini press or skillet over medium heat. Place the assembled sandwiches in the press or skillet. If using a skillet, press down with a heavy pan. Grill for about 4-5 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Serve
Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve immediately with extra horseradish sauce on the side if desired.
