Prepare the Glass
Start by chilling an Old Fashioned glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the cocktail.
Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 ounces of Jameson Orange Whiskey, 0.5 ounces of Luxardo Cherry Liqueur, 2 dashes of bitters, and 0.5 ounces of simple syrup.
Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes (about 3) and stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
Strain into Glass
Remove the ice water from the chilled Old Fashioned glass. Strain the mixed cocktail into the glass over fresh ice, if desired.
