Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all ingredients: pastrami, Swiss cheese, rye bread, coleslaw mix, Russian dressing, dill pickle slices, and butter.

Heat the Pastrami
In a skillet over medium heat, place the pastrami and heat until warmed through, about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Assemble the Sandwich
On the unbuttered side of one slice of toasted rye bread, layer the warm pastrami, followed by Swiss cheese, coleslaw, and Russian dressing. Add dill pickle slices on top.

Complete the Sandwich
Top with the second slice of rye bread, unbuttered side down. Press down gently.

Carefully flip the sandwich and return it to the skillet. Toast the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
