Savor the bold flavors of our Patton Hot Sausage, a mouthwatering blend of spicy pork seasoned to perfection. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork with garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, black pepper, salt, red pepper flakes, and brown sugar. Mix well until all spices are evenly distributed.
Gradually add water to the sausage mixture and knead until the mixture becomes sticky and well-combined.
Soak the hog or collagen casings in water for at least 30 minutes prior to stuffing. Rinse well inside and out.
Using a sausage stuffer, fill the casings with the sausage mixture, being careful not to overfill. Twist into links of desired size and tie off the ends.
Grill, pan-fry, or bake the stuffed sausages over medium heat until fully cooked, approximately 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally.
