Build and shake
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 1 cup). Pour in 2 tablespoons RumChata Pineapple liqueur, 1.5 oz RumHaven coconut rum, 4 oz pineapple juice and 0.25 oz fresh lime juice (if using). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and slightly frosted.
Strain the mixture into a chilled highball or hurricane glass filled with fresh ice. This yields a smooth, slightly creamy tropical base from the RumChata Pineapple and coconut notes from the RumHaven.
Add a dash (about 1/2 teaspoon) of cranberry juice over the top. Let it sink slightly to create a faint blush swirl — do not stir vigorously, unless you want the color fully integrated.
Garnish & Serve
Skewer a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry on a cocktail pick and rest on the rim of the glass, or float them on top. Optionally wipe the rim with the lime wedge used earlier for an extra citrus aroma.
Serve immediately with a straw. Estimated single serving volume ~8–10 oz.
