Cocktail

1

Build and shake

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Add 1.5 oz Camarena Silver Tequila, 1 oz RumHaven coconut rum, 2 oz pineapple juice, 1 oz orange juice, and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well chilled.

2

Prepare glass

Fill a highball or Collins glass with fresh ice. If you prefer, chill the glass in advance.

3

Layer with blue curaçao

Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over ice, leaving about 1/2 inch of headspace. Slowly pour 0.5 oz blue curaçao over the back of a spoon or pour gently down the inside of the glass so it sinks and creates a turquoise 'mermaid' layer.

4

Top with soda

Gently add 2 oz soda water to the glass to lighten the drink and add effervescence. Pour slowly to preserve the layered look.

5

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge and an optional pineapple wedge or maraschino cherry on the rim. Serve with a straw and a stirrer so the guest can mix when ready.

6

Notes

If you want a sweeter profile, increase pineapple juice by 0.5–1 oz. To make a batch, multiply ingredient quantities by number of servings and combine in a pitcher; add soda and blue curaçao individually into each glass to preserve color layering.
