For one serving

For a pitcher (approx. 8 servings)

Method

Single glass

1

Chill glass (optional)

Place the glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes prior to serving for an extra cold drink.

2

Fill a tall glass with about 6 ice cubes. Adjust quantity to preference.

3

Open a chilled 12 oz can or bottle of Coca-Cola. Pour slowly down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation and reduce foaming.

4

If using lime, roll the quarter lime on the countertop with gentle pressure to release juices, then squeeze the juice into the glass and drop the squeezed quarter in or discard per preference.

5

Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim if desired. Serve immediately with a straw or stirring spoon.

Pitcher

6

Chill a pitcher in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes prior to serving for best temperature.

7

Add about 48 ice cubes to the pitcher or fill individual serving glasses with ice just before pouring to avoid diluting the whole pitcher too quickly.

8

Slowly pour the 96 oz of chilled Coca-Cola into the pitcher (or into glasses) to preserve carbonation. If using multiple bottles/cans, pour one at a time down the side of the pitcher.

9

If using limes, roll them briefly, slice into wedges, squeeze juice from 2 limes into the pitcher (or to taste), and add wedges for garnish.

10

Serve immediately, pouring into ice-filled glasses and adding a lime wedge to each glass if desired.
