Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Cream Butter and Sugars

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Add Eggs and Vanilla

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Bake Cookies

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden. Allow to cool on a wire rack.

In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9x9 inch baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool before cutting into bite-sized pieces.
